Dr. Andrea Tannis was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada. She attended Queen's University, where she earned a Bachelor's of Science in Biology (Honors). Dr. Andrea moved to Philadelphia to attend dental school at Temple Kornberg School of Dentistry, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in May of 2023.

Dr. Andrea is passionate about patient education because she believes prevention is the key to overall oral health. She takes the time with her patients to customize the best way to care for their teeth. To provide the most up-to-date treatment for her patients, Dr. Andrea takes continuing education courses to expand her knowledge.

Dr. Andrea believes in giving back to the community and volunteers her time to various organizations such as the Mission of Mercy organization in PA.

When not making people smile, Dr. Andrea has a curiosity about the world and enjoys traveling. She also loves learning new activities and is currently picking up golf. She resides in Clarks Summit and is the proud mom to her mini Labradoodle, Hermey.
