Dr. Thomas Adel, DMD, MD, is a highly trained and compassionate oral and maxillofacial surgeon with deep roots in Northeast Pennsylvania, where he proudly serves the community he calls home. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from Pennsylvania State University before completing both his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Temple University’s Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry and his Doctor of Medicine (MD) at Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine. Dr. Adel further refined his surgical expertise through a rigorous six-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Temple University, gaining extensive training in complex procedures and patient-centered care.

Dr. Adel’s clinical focus includes dental implants, bone grafting, surgical and wisdom tooth extractions, exposure of teeth for orthodontics, anesthesia and sedation, oral pathology, biopsies, and emergency treatment of dental infections or facial trauma. He is a member of both the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and the Delaware Valley Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (DVSOMS), reflecting his ongoing commitment to excellence and professional development in his field.

Renowned for his gentle demeanor and attentive approach, Dr. Adel places a high value on trust, comfort, and clear communication.
