Dr. Nicholas Rizzo, DMD
Dr. Nicholas Rizzo is the brother of Dr Mary Grace Rizzo-Fryzel and was born and raised in Throop, Pennsylvania.
He attended the University of Scranton where he graduated with a degree in Biochemistry, Cell, and Molecular Biology before moving to Philadelphia PA to attend dental school. He graduated from Temple Kornberg School of Dentistry receiving his DMD degree in May of 2019. He is currently licensed with the Pennsylvania state board of dentistry and a member of the American Dental Society, the Pennsylvania Dental Association and the Scranton Area Dental Society.
Dr. Nicholas brings with him a background in the most recent advances in dental medicine for his patients offering a wide variety of treatments including tooth colored fillings, crowns, bridges, veneers, root canals, extractions, implants and same day emergencies. He is an avid runner, ski enthusiast, and cinephile and spends the majority of his free time in his residence in Old Forge.
Dr. Ryan C. Dell’Aglio, DMD
Dr. Dell’Aglio is no stranger to providing high-quality dental care. A 2009 honors graduate of the University of Scranton, Dr. Dell’Aglio went on to complete his studies in dental medicine at Temple University School of Dentistry.
While at Temple Dental, Dr. Dell’Aglio was an active member of the Stomatognathic Honor Society, Dental Anesthesiology Honor Society, and Oral Surgery Honor Society. Additionally, Dr. Dell’Aglio was elected by his peers as President of his dental class where he worked closely with fellow classmates and professors to improve both curriculum and clinic processes for future dental candidates.
Following graduation in 2013, Dr. Dell’Aglio refined his skills in the greater St. Louis, MO area where he practiced comprehensive general and surgical dental care. In 2016, Dr. Dell’Aglio made the decision to return to the area he was raised. Since that time, Dr. Dell’Aglio has served as Director of Dental Medicine at Scranton Primary Health Center.
Dr. Dell’Aglio is well skilled in all aspects of general, surgical, and cosmetic dental treatment including fixed prosthodontics and removable prosthodontics. He currently resides in Waverly, PA with his wife Caitlyn and two boys Eli and Theo.

Dr. Laura Spence, DMD
Dr. Laura Spence grew up in Berwick, PA. When she was in high school, she had the opportunity to participate in a service trip to Guatemala, where she was first introduced to dentistry. She was drawn to the combination of artistry and patient care that dentistry involves.
Dr. Laura graduated from Susquehanna University with a biology degree and minors in chemistry and Spanish. She went on to attend dental school at The University of Louisville. She was an active member of the American Student Dental Association and the American Association for Women Dentists.
Dr. Laura completed a year-long internship with Geisinger’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department where she had the opportunity to further her surgical skills and care for patients in a hospital setting.
Outside of work, Dr. Laura loves to spend time with friends and family, travel to new places, go outside, or curl up with a good book.
Dr. john mcguire, DMD
Dr. John McGuire grew up near Wallenpaupack, PA. He graduated with a BS in Finance from Penn State University in 2009. He later attended dental school at Temple University, earning his DMD in 2013. In 2014, he completed a general practice residency in Bethlehem, PA, that focused on restorative dentistry and oral surgery. Dr. McGuire returned to NEPA, where he has been providing professional and friendly dental care for the Scranton community ever since.
Dr. McGuire enjoys providing quality dentistry, including restorative treatment, root canals, and prosthetics.
Dr. McGuire’s favorite hobbies are kayaking, golfing, music production, and reading anything from his favorite authors.
